Room 1's Bug Hotel

Today we made a bug hotel for the bugs in our garden to live in. We hope our bugs love living here amongst the leaves, bricks, rocks, branches and soil. 

Busy day painting

Today we have had a great day. We have been painting cans for hanging flower pots in our garden. We have also been painting the garden sign. 

Reading contract

We are now doing a reading contract in room1. We choose an activity everyday. If you choose weekly quiz, you stay on that activity for the whole reading time, because it takes a long time. But if you choose the other ones you do them for 15 minutes. When you choose an activity you must tick off the activity your going to do. Or do it then tick it off. But sometimes people don't get to do the things they want to do because some groups get taken for reading by the teacher and sometimes they can't do it after the teacher because you have to do a follow-up activity from the book you read with the teacher. Diacks great green growers

Diacks great, green, growers have improved there fabulous garden once again by pouring gritty gravel beside the vegetable patches.

We have chosen a name for the isla bank gardens!!!!

We finally all have agreed on the gardens name but we caused a debate trying to find the name.

We have decided that the gardens name is........... DIACKS GREAT GREEN GROWERS. We all love the name and want to keep the garden going for a while.
